DESCRIPTION:The Mayor of Chippenham\, Cllr Liz Alstrom has launched a Christmas Card Competition open to all Chippenham residents. \nEvery year\, the Mayor of Chippenham sends official Christmas cards and this year\, and this year the Mayor wants the design to come from a member of our community. The theme will be:\n‘A Celebration of Chippenham at Christmas’.\nThere will be three age categories\, and the winner in each category\, will receive a prize.\nThe overall winner will be used on the official Mayoral Christmas Card and will also win a supply of 10 cards for their own use. \nFor more details please check the Chippenham Town Council website: https://www.chippenham.gov.uk/the-mayors-christmas-card-competition/ \nThe closing date for the competition is Monday 14th November.

DESCRIPTION:Chiptic – Chippenham Technology and Innovation Club – Bringing likeminded people together with an interest in technology\, design and manufacture\, to make useful things for the community of Chippenham in a social and supportive environment. \nThe kick-off meeting will be at the Angel Hotel on Thursday 6th October at 7pm in the Banquet Room. If you wish to use the car park\, then you will need to register your vehicle at the reception as the car park is managed by Parking Eye. \nThe purpose of the meeting is to find out what you’d like to get from the club\, how it might be able to help you\, what things you can already do and what kind of things you are interested in doing. By finding out what interests you\, and everyone else who is interested\, we can start to figure out how to proceed with establishing the club to meet the desires of the members. \nAll are welcome!
