DESCRIPTION:Martin is a fisherman without a boat\, his brother Steven having re-purposed it as a tourist tripper. With their childhood home now a get-away for London money\, Martin is displaced to the estate above the harbour. \nBait is a British drama film\, written and directed by Mark Jenkin\, the film deals with the tensions that arise between locals and tourists in a Cornish fishing village\, against a backdrop of second homes\, short-term lets\, and gentrification. \nMark Jenkin received numerous nominations for his debut feature and was awarded a BAFTA and BFI award in 2020.
