DESCRIPTION:Explore what life was like in Chippenham in the 1920s & 30s\, as objects\, costume\, photographs & artworks bring the era to life. \nMarking the centenary of the opening of John Coles Park in 1923\, this exhibition explores the glamour of the cinema and fashions from the period\, as well as strikes\, protests and the legacy and threat of war. \nTo accompany the exhibition\, there will be a programme of talks and events. More information can be found on the ‘What’s On’ page of our website. \nChippenham Museum\, a Chippenham Town Council facility\, is free entry\, open Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm\, including bank holidays.

DESCRIPTION:We’d love for you to come and join us so together we can understand more about the environmental and social benefits that your Tiny Forest brings to the community. \nOver the course of the session\, you will learn about: \n\nWildlife in the forest including butterflies\, bees\, and bugs!\nHow trees can capture and store carbon from the air we breathe\nThe forest’s ability to store water\nThe cooling benefits of the trees\n\nSo please come along\, enjoy time immersed in nature and take part in hands-on research. \nThe Tiny Forest located in Monkton Park can be accessed via Sunningdale Close & Sadlers Mead. \nThe nearest bus stops are: \n\nSpar Store\, Stop ID: wilamwda\nMobkton Park Primary School\, Stop ID: wilamtpm\n\nThe nearest parking is: \nBrakesmead Car Park\, Sadlers Mead\, Chippenham SN15 3PD \nFind out more about this Tiny Forest on our website here. \nRefreshments will not be provided on the day so please bring some water and anything else you might need. \nOutdoor shoes and clothing are advised.
