SUMMARY:Chippenham Between the Wars
DESCRIPTION:Explore what life was like in Chippenham in the 1920s & 30s\, as objects\, costume\, photographs & artworks bring the era to life. \nMarking the centenary of the opening of John Coles Park in 1923\, this exhibition explores the glamour of the cinema and fashions from the period\, as well as strikes\, protests and the legacy and threat of war. \nTo accompany the exhibition\, there will be a programme of talks and events. More information can be found on the ‘What’s On’ page of our website. \nChippenham Museum\, a Chippenham Town Council facility\, is free entry\, open Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm\, including bank holidays.

DESCRIPTION:Come and join Tracey of Mrs Mosley’s Posies for a creative\, relaxing couple of hours\, learning the ancient skill of Flower Pressing. \nIn a small group\, participants will be provided with their own flower press to use and hand picked flowers. Tracey will demonstrate techniques and provide plenty of advice on how to create beautiful results. \nAfter some delicious home made refreshments\, you will also have the opportunity to create greeting cards with some of Tracey’s pre-pressed blooms to take home with you. \nAll materials and refreshments are included in the price.
