SUMMARY:The Arc Easter Holiday Sessions
DESCRIPTION:Join us for some holiday fun! \nFrom 1-14 April\, we are running fun Easter holiday climbing sessions for 6-15 years at The Arc in Chippenham. No experience is required. \nA variety of sessions are available at both centres for the Easter Holiday Kids’ climbing sessions with additional kids & family taster sessions also running throughout the Easter week. All sessions last between 1 and 1.5hrs depending on which course you choose. Sessions are run by experienced coaches and will be loads of fun!

We challenge you to build a Bottle Rocket and see how high you can make it fly!\nSessions led by our Education Officer. DESCRIPTION:Maud’s Way \nFirst Wednesday of the month\n3 April to 4 September\, 7pm – 9pm\nFree\, spaces limited \nJoin Chippenham Museum’s Creative Writing Group and take part in our new series of 6 linked writing workshops led by local writer and facilitator Ruth Hill. \nInspired by the 550th anniversary of Maud Heath’s Causeway and the Museum’s summer exhibition\, Re-imagining Maud Heath\, discover how Maud and her Causeway has been celebrated by artists\, writers\, and everyday people across the centuries. Explore the stories surrounding Maud Heath and consider how local myths and legends begin and grow over time. \nOver the 6 months\, explore\, discover\, share and create your own local stories and perhaps some of these will develop into longstanding legends which will be told for years to come! \nThese sessions are suitable for beginners to experienced writers and will culminate with performed readings as part of the Maud’s Way Heritage Open Day’s events in September. \nGroup meets on the first Wednesday of the month at Chippenham Museum. \nWorkshops are free but spaces are limited.
