SUMMARY:A Walk to Remember
DESCRIPTION:Seven-mile charity walk for Alzheimer’s Support and a great day out for the whole family! \nPull on your walking boots and take part in A Walk to Remember on Saturday 8th June. \nIt’s a circular seven-miles through some of North Wiltshire’s loveliest countryside starting and finishing at Bowood Estate at the kind permission of the charity’s patron Lady Lansdowne. \nThe day starts with bacon or veggie butties then\, after a fun group warm-up\, we head out into the beautiful north Wiltshire countryside. Everyone walks at their own pace. You can walk with others\, stride ahead or do your own thing. There are plenty of great views and scenic places to stop for a picnic along the way. And marshals will be on hand to make sure you find your way. \nBack at the estate\, our post-walk celebrations include medals for all the finishers\, commemorative photos\, plenty of tea and cake and chance to relax with other walkers. \nPlease sign up and join us in June – you’ll have a great day out and be walking for dementia with every step.

SUMMARY:10th Chippenham Scout Group Big Help Out
DESCRIPTION:Over the weekend of the 8th and 9th June 2024 we will be using the ‘Scouts Big Help Out’ to make much needed repairs and updates to the hut. As many of you know\, we are aiming for a new hut in the forceable future\, however this hut needs to serve our needs for the next few years and to do so\, needs a bit of DIY and sprucing up! \nWe are looking for professional tradesman as well as family and friends of all ability’s to participate and make the event not only fun but great in saving the hut as we know it. \nIf you or a friend do have a professional skill such as electrician\, builder or carpenter or even if you are a dab hand at turning to DIY jobs or even keen and willing to learn\, we need you! Please sign up below \nover 18 please or 14+ with a responsible adult. Please can you let us know by the 25th May so we can purchase materials.
