DESCRIPTION:Led by our Education Officer in our Education Suite\, find out just how many different types of engineering you can do with one of the simplest materials! Choose from guided designs like table football\, tabletop spinner\, a maze or even a crane (for the advanced engineers)\, or see where your imagination takes you!\nThis is a drop-in activity\, just book your regular entry tickets. All cardboard provided – no need to bring your recycling bin! \nCrafts will be also available in Creation Station if you’d prefer a self-led activity at your own leisure.\nIf you are planning to visit as a Holiday Club or similar group\, please contact the museum to arrange a special booking. \nAll activities included in entry fee\, general entry applies (see details on our website).

Then get crafty and design your own t-shirt bunting. 👕🎨 \nFor children who may find busy sessions overwhelming\, we’re also offering Autism Friendly Quiet Time sessions. DESCRIPTION:This welcoming and supportive course is specially designed for ESOL learners who want to take their English communication skills to the next level\, while exploring important themes around health and wellbeing. \nFollowing on from our ESOL Beginners course\, ESOL for Wellbeing is ideal for learners who already have a good grasp of English—those who can express themselves\, take part in conversations\, and understand most of what’s being said. This course offers the perfect opportunity to build confidence\, improve fluency\, and develop stronger communication across listening\, speaking\, reading\, and writing. \nAs part of the course\, learners will also get the chance to explore their local area\, helping to build not just language skills but community connections and local knowledge. \nWelcome Meeting\nAll new learners must attend our welcome meeting on Thursday 29 May at 12.30pm. DESCRIPTION:Alongside our sessions in Chippenham (‘lighter’ Monday lunchtimes) and Royal Wootton Bassett (Tuesday evenings)\, the Sparkly Singers meet every Thursday evening from 8:00pm at the Lansdowne Hall in Derry Hill. Founded with the simple aim of bringing the joy and benefits of group singing to everyone\, our emphasis is on singing in a way that is\, above all else\, fun. \nRather than splitting into parts and learning harmonies\, we prefer instead to sing in unison\, infusing songs with our own rather unique mix of humour\, movement and the occasional wacky prop. \nSo if you simply love to sing\, but have yet to find the choir that perfectly complements your sense of fun\, why not come along to one of our FREE taster sessions and see what we’re all about. \n
