DESCRIPTION:Carers Week is just around the corner; this is a time to recognise the vital role unpaid carers play in our communities and raise awareness of the challenges they face. This year’s theme\, Caring About Equality\, focuses on the unfair barriers many carers experience\, such as poor health\, financial stress\, and social isolation. \nTo show our appreciation\, Carers Together Wiltshire has teamed up with Wiltshire College\, The Aspire Academy of Hair & Beauty at Chippenham Campus\, to offer FREE Hair and Beauty Treatments exclusively for unpaid Carers during Carers Week. It’s a chance to unwind\, feel valued\, and enjoy a well-deserved treat. \nSee the full list of available treatments below:\n– Wash and blow dry\n– Men’s wet cuts\n– Beauty\n– Manicure\n– Pedicure\n– Express Facial \nAppointments are available at 10am\, 11am\, 1pm and 2pm\, and each treatment lasts around 45 minutes. \nYou’re very welcome to bring along the person you care for – there will be a waiting area with free refreshments\, supported by Health and Social Care students. DESCRIPTION:Corsham Walking Festival 13th -15th June 2025 \nVisit this historic Wiltshire market town on the fringe of the Cotswolds National Landscape on this our 11th Walking Festival\, that shows the very best that North West Wiltshire has to offer. \nOur popular Walking Festival will have nineteen walks exploring the local and surrounding picturesque towns\, villages\, and countryside. \nWalk themes capture the industrial and rural heritage of the area including Neston Estate\, Hidden Quarries\, Historic Mills of the By Brook\, Ancient Parishes\, and Manor Houses. Plus\, a wildflower and wildlife walk and one ‘All About Trees’. \nLonger routes include the Pretty Village of North West Wiltshire\, Biddestone\, Castle Combe\, Colerne and Box. DESCRIPTION:This exhibition features all the artworks of Year 5 and Year 9 pupils entered as part of Art Bytes. This exhibition would not have been possible without the support of\, and volunteers from\, The Arts Society Wessex\, The Arts Society Kington Langley and The Chippenham Museum. \nArt Bytes is a national art and EdTech programme for Year 5 and Year 9 students in all educational settings\, combining an inter-school art competition with a bespoke virtual gallery and in-person Celebration Events in cultural venues across England. \nArt Bytes is based on 12 years’ experience in the North West and is proven to nurture talent\, raise ambition and develop confidence and cultural capital\, as well as support mental health and help develop vital skills for future employment.
