DESCRIPTION:Featuring artworks by some of the leading sculptors and innovators working with ceramics in the UK today\, join us for our next exhibition ‘Subversive Forms: Revolutionary approaches to clay’. \n‘Subversive Forms’ will shine a spotlight on contemporary artists who push the boundaries of possibility with clay. SUMMARY:Singing Mamas - FREE taster at Chippenham Library
DESCRIPTION:Singing Mamas groups are supportive spaces to meet\, connect and sing beautiful group harmony with NO musical experience needed. There’s no sheet music or lyrics sheets\, everything is taught by ear and we’ll have toys to keep the teeny ones busy while you enjoy some singing. Come as you are and take some time for you! \nIf you’d like to learn some songs that aren’t traditional nursery rhymes\, if you love singing but can’t get to a choir because you’d need to bring your little one(s)\, if you’d like to meet other mums\, if you’d just like to get out of the house and brighten up a February morning then this is the perfect session for you! \nThis free taster at Chippenham library will be around an hour long and will give you a really good flavour of what Singing Mamas is all about. There aren’t any tickets but please let us know if you’re planning on coming. SUMMARY:Talk Club Chippenham - mental health fitness for men aged 18+
DESCRIPTION:How are you? Out of 10?\nThis meet up is a talking and listen club for men aged 18 and over.\nThis group meets the 2nd Monday of each month – upstairs at The Waverley. \nWhat’s it about?\nA Talk & Listen group is a peer to peer talking group run by volunteers we call Captains.\nCaptains are trained to facilitate groups in communities across the UK. \nThese groups are held in person in a safe and quiet space so men can talk and listen using the Talk Club sharing model which starts with ‘How are you? Out of 10?’. This simple question helps men to put a number on how they feel\, (1 being rock bottom and 10 being on top of the world) then trying to explain why. \nDepending on the number of men attending\, sessions last a maximum of two hours.
