DESCRIPTION:Featuring artworks by some of the leading sculptors and innovators working with ceramics in the UK today\, join us for our next exhibition ‘Subversive Forms: Revolutionary approaches to clay’. \n‘Subversive Forms’ will shine a spotlight on contemporary artists who push the boundaries of possibility with clay. Those who considered themselves Chippenham’s greatest hits. \nWhat’s the oldest grave we can find anything about? \nWere there any scandals people were repenting for? \nWho got a stained glass window and why? \nThis friendly and interactive club session will explore the development of the church through the townspeople who supported and worshipped there\, and take in stories of those who are commemorated on its walls – from gentry to soldiers to organists to prominent tradespeople.
