DESCRIPTION:Chippenham Film Club’s next offering will be Sweet Bean\, a lovely Japanese film starring the late Kirin Kiki.\nMade in 2015\, Sweet Bean tells the story of Sentaro\, the manager of a pancake stall\, who finds himself confronted with an odd but sympathetic elderly woman looking for work. A taste of her homemade red bean paste convinces him to hire her\, which starts a relationship that is about much more than just street food. \nTickets are available through the film club’s website.

DESCRIPTION:Sutton Benger Arts Festival – hosted by BArts \nFriday 15th\, Saturday 16th\, Sunday 17th July 2022. \nThis Arts Festival is a weekend of Live Music\, Dance\, Theatre\, Art\, Song\, Workshops and Children’s Activities. Everything from Folk\, Rock and Jazz\, to circus skills\, Art Exhibitions\, Arts and Craft stalls\, amusements and even a collection of cherished vehicles from the local area. Variety of food traders\, beer tent and Gin and Prosecco bar available all weekend. \nFestival line-up: \nFolk Friday (ticketed event)\nThree fantastic professional Folk bands all at one venue will open the festival. SUMMARY:Fused Glass Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join us for this fused glass workshop to make either a 5cm x 20cm sun-catcher\, or a 10cm x 10cm panel which can be framed or hung in a window. \nYou will be supplied with a pre-cut piece of glass of your choice\, plus a selection of coloured glass to complete your project. Once completed your tutor will take your work away and fire it in a kiln\, and you will be able to collect it from the museum on the following Saturday. All tools and materials are supplied. No experience is necessary. The workshop is suitable for anyone over the age of 10 years. \nYour tutor for the session is Pj Buchanan\, the owner and inspiration of SkyDog Glass. Pj’s studio is located in Chippenham\, and she is currently one of the resident artists at The Corsham Gallery in Corsham. Pj is an experienced workshop tutor.\nWorkshops at 10.30am & 1.30pm\nStandard ticket: £25 \nPlease contact the venue for any access requirements. \nPlease note: Tickets are also available through our Box Office on 01249 446699\, or alternatively tickets are also available at the Town Hall and Museum. \nTickets are non-refundable unless this event is cancelled or postponed
