DESCRIPTION:Chippenham Art Group meets monthly on Wednesdays in St Paul’s Church Hall\, Greenway Lane\, Chippenham. It’s led by artist Fran Young and organised by our experienced community services coordinator Pam Ollis. \nProjects ranging from painting and drawing to collage\, printing\, crafts\, clay modelling and more. We work at a leisurely pace with plenty of time for conversation and connection. No previous experience of art is necessary and everyone works at their own pace. People can also work on their own projects and develop their own ideas. \nFamily carers are welcome at the group as full members and encouraged to join in to create their own pieces of art. \nIf you’d like to come along as a group member\, or for more information\, please call Pam on 01380 739055\, or to register your interest please use the form below. \nThis group is kindly part-funded by Chippenham Borough Lands Charity. SUMMARY:Summer Behind-the-Scenes Tour
DESCRIPTION:Join the team on one of our behind-the-scenes tours of the Charity’s airbase. \nWe will be opening the doors to our airbase to give our guests a unique experience. \nThe tour will cover our flight room\, helicopter hangar and simulation room. \nAll monies raised will go directly to help save lives in Wiltshire and Bath. \nPlease note\, the tour will be led by our volunteers and as this will be an operational day\, we cannot guarantee the crew or helicopter will be present during your visit. \nDuring the tour guests will be on their feet for up to two hours. While walking around the base it will include 22 stairs up to our viewing platform (however there is a lift at this location) and 22 stairs down to the hangar. Please advise us in advance if you would struggle with this. Please note the majority of the tour is inside but if the aircraft is at the base during the tour it will involve some time outside.
