SUMMARY:Waverley Album Listening Event Fundraiser for Dorothy House Hospice - October 29th 2025
DESCRIPTION:October’s fundraiser for our local Hospice will be held at The Waverley bar in Chippenham on Wednesday 29th starting around 8pm. \nWe will be discussing and listening to vinyl copies of Elvis Costello’s 1977 debut LP ‘My Aim Is True’ and the 2024 release from Texan funk-soul band Silver Skylarks ‘The Number One Set And Sound’. \nAs usual get along around 7.30pm to get a good seat and a drink. \nThere is no charge for entry and all are welcome\, voluntary donations to Dorothy House Hospice are of course gratefully received. Come and stay for the whole evening or just pop in to listen whilst you sup your beer.

DESCRIPTION:Get personalised guidance and help with making a grant application to Chippenham Borough Lands Charity. \nDrop in to see one of our friendly Grant Managers between 10am-2pm on Fridays at the Chippenham Community Hub\, 1 Gladstone Parade\, Timber Street\, Chippenham\, SN15 3BS. \nYou might be a Chippenham resident seeking funding support for things like food vouchers\, white goods\, furniture\, mobility aids\, bankruptcy fees\, education resources\, course fees or funeral costs. Perhaps you run a local community group or work for a charity or not for profit organisation aiming to make a difference for Chippenham residents. \nBy offering these informal sessions\, we aim to empower more individuals to be able to get the funding the support they need and more organisations to create positive change to support the wellbeing of Chippenham residents. \n\nCan’t make Wednesdays?
