DESCRIPTION:Love to sing? \nThe Village Singers are a community choir with members of all ages coming from the villages and towns around Chippenham. We have no auditions and we always welcome new members. We have been making music together since 2011. \nWe are united by our love of music and our love of fun but also through many shared emotional experiences. DESCRIPTION:Across Chippenham Folk Festival weekend\, nationally-renowned youth folk arts organisation Shooting Roots are offering a series of workshops\, which are heavily discounted for local young people. \nThere are workshops in singing and theatre\, with evening folk arts activities\, and a chance to perform on the festival’s main community stage on Monday.\nExpect songs\, harmonies\, devising ridiculous plots\, tableaus\, games\, music\, and a chance to meet new friends. All take place at the Masonic Hall in Emery Lane\, the YOUTH HUB for the festival weekend. \nLocal (all SN postcodes\, plus BA14 and BA15) 11-17 year olds can access each Shooting Roots workshop for just £3 on the door.
