DESCRIPTION:Each winter Wiltshire Wildlife Community Energy runs its programme of ‘Keeping Warm This Winter’ – friendly\, pop-up ‘Energy Advice Cafes’ hosted at community gatherings in venues throughout Swindon and Wiltshire to reach residents struggling with energy costs. \nAt the cafe people can get advice\, tips and have their questions answered about heating and energy at home and see examples of simple\, effective but cheap energy-saving measures they can use.  There’s information to take away and useful free giveaways. \nPeople coming along can also be signposted to further support such as Warm and Safe Wiltshire\, to check eligibility for grants and help with energy bills and energy efficiency measures at home. Church Wardens can also gain support and network with others on their Eco Church journey\, so why not join us for a slice of cake and a warm drink at St Andrews Church\, Market Place\, Chippenham\, SN15 3HT. \nThe event is co-hosted by Eco Church Bristol Diocese – www.bristol.anglican.com and Wiltshire Wildlife Community Energy \nRSVP – belinda.martin@bristoldiocese.org

DESCRIPTION:Bath University is looking for young people (16-24 years) with vision impairment. They are running a free climbing event at The Arc on 9 June and are looking for participants. This is part of a project where visually impaired young people will co-design research to help identify the barriers and enablers for participation. \nThere are 12 climbing spaces available for those aged 16-24 years who live in the UK. No experience is required. On the day\, you may choose not to climb. You may also come just for a chat to find out more about this event and others being run by the University researchers. Organisers can cover your travel expenses that do not exceed £100. Participation in the climbing aspect of this day is not recommended for people with vertigo. You can withdraw and leave at any time.
