DESCRIPTION:A free Christmas Day lunch is being offered to locals in Corsham\, Box\, Chippenham and surrounding areas. The event is open to anyone but pre-booking is essential. \nThe Christmas lunch aims to bring together people who may otherwise be alone on the holiday\, including carers\, single-parent families\, and those with special needs. Volunteers with health/social care experience will be on hand to provide extra support as needed\, such as with eating\, drinking or personal care. \nThe event will be held at the Corsham Scout Hall\, The Lagger\, Corsham\, SN13 0DE. Guests will be served coffee\, tea\, a 3-course meal\, and Christmas treats. There will also be activities like a quiz and raffle. \nTransport can be arranged from the Corsham/Chippenham area\, including wheelchair-accessible options.
