DESCRIPTION:Our warm and welcoming community space and café takes place fortnightly at the Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre and is perfect for anyone who’d like to feel more connected and uplifted in a friendly\, caring and welcoming atmosphere. \nJoin us and take part in free activities including knitting\, jewellery making and crafting. SUMMARY:REME Museum Christmas Fair
DESCRIPTION:Kick off your festive shopping at the REME Museum Christmas Fair with stalls full of handmade goods and local offers! \nGet in the holiday spirit and purchase gifts for loved ones\, find that perfect Secret Santa gift or simply buy a treat for yourself. You’ll also have a chance to meet Santa Claus\, as he joins us from the North Pole to read to families from some classic Christmas storybooks! \nBy popular demand\, this year the museum is making it bigger! To make sure you have plenty of space to browse all the stalls and to offer even more local businesses the opportunity to have a stall\, the Christmas Fair will be held throughout the Museum Galleries. \nThe museum is asking for a small entry donation of £1. Your donations help to support the REME Charity\, which provides financial assistance to past and present members of the Corps of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and their dependants. They also support the REME Museum. \nEntry to the museum is included with entry to the Christmas Fair\, but please note that visibility of displays will be limited on this day due to business stalls and lighting will be adjusted too\, so if you would like a normal museum experience we recommend visiting on another day. \nRefreshments will be available to purchase from Crown’s Café\, which will only be open to visitors with a ticket to the event. \nFree parking will be available in the museum’s large car park\, visitors are asked to please reserve a parking space if you need one in advance. Blue Badge spaces are available on a first-come-first-served basis and you must have reserved a parking space online. If you can\, please consider travelling by alternative means.

DESCRIPTION:Our warm and welcoming community space and café takes place fortnightly at the Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre and is perfect for anyone who’d like to feel more connected and uplifted in a friendly\, caring and welcoming atmosphere. \nJoin us and take part in free activities including knitting\, jewellery making and crafting. There are opportunities to play traditional board games alongside our amazing Dungeons and Dragons game experience\, or you are most welcome to sit quietly\, soaking in the atmosphere with a good book to discover more about Wiltshire’s history. \nIf you would like to practice your English\, our ‘Chatty Corner’ sessions will be perfect for you. \nYou can also take refreshment in our cafe area where we serve hot and cold drinks and a selection of homemade cakes. \nRefreshments and activities are all free\, and everyone is welcome. \nThe Educafe runs fortnightly from 10.30am-2pm at the Wiltshire & Swindon History Centre\, Chippenham\, a 5 minute walk from the railway station\, accessible via buses 33\, X31\, X33\, X34\, 35\, 35A\, 44A\, 44B\, 44D\, 44M\, 55\, 91\, 92\, 635. \nUpcoming dates this year include: \n3 August \n17 August \n14 September \n28 September \n12 October \n26 October \n9 November \n23 November \n7 December \n21 December \n
