Having trained in Body Aware\, Mask\, Japanese and Chinese Theatre\, as an actor and director\, Marnie uses the body and text to tell a story. She uses her work in the Arts as a Creative Facilitator and has worked for Theatres throughout the British Isles – Salisbury Playhouse\, The Everyman\, Cheltenham and The Roses Tewkesbury. She has worked for the Royal Shakespeare Company and Prime Theatre. Directing and using drama skills is part of what she does and her work with RADA has been used for communication and confidence projects. \nYou will gain experience of professional working methods and tools to use in your own acting work.

It won a number of awards including eight Platino Awards\, the BAFTA Award for Best Film Not in the English Language\, and the Goya Award for Best Spanish Language Foreign Film. It was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film at the 87th Academy Awards\, and for the Palme d’Or at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. Wild Tales is the most-seen Argentine film of all time.

Aftersun had its world premiere at Cannes on 21 May 2022\, where Wells was nominated for the Golden Camera\, Scottish-born\, New York-based writer-director Wells picked up a whopping 16 nominations at the British Independent Film Awards.

DESCRIPTION:This a brand new performance was commissioned by Yesterday’s Story to share the story of Queen Mary I and her association with Chippenham Borough Lands for Fringe Feb 2023. \nDevised and performed by Wiltshire based songwriter and performer Louise Jordan – The Pop-Up Pedestal is a one woman street theatre performance. Watch the statue come to life\, be entertained and experience local history which still has an impact on Chippenham residents today. \nSaturday – 10am at Chippenham Bridge\, 12pm at The Buttercross\, 3pm in Borough Parade \nSunday – 10am at Chippenham Bridge\, 12pm at The Buttercross\, 2pm at Borough Parade \nYesterday’s Story CIC aims to tell stories from the past\, by bringing them to life through arts\, culture and live events. \nFunding support from Chippenham Borough Lands Charity. \n \n
