SUMMARY:Autumn Exhibition and sale of paintings at Chippenham Museum
DESCRIPTION:The Open Spaces exhibition runs at Chippenham Museum from 1st to the 15th October. The exhibition showcases the work of Chippenham & District Artists (CDA) who are a group of local artists who formed over 20 years ago. Visitors can browse work in a range of mediums with the opportunity to purchase locally produced artwork\, cards and prints. \n \nThe exhibition takes place at Chippenham Museum. You can book a Private View ticket at Chippenham Museum which allows for 1 to 6 people (up to 2 households/bubbles) to enjoy sole use of the museum for one hour. Pre-booking before your visit is essential. You can do this on the museum website\, by calling 01249 705020 or by popping in to check when the next time slot is available. \nThe museum’s Visitor Guidelines detail the things you need to know to make your visit safe and enjoyable. Visit England Good to Go status means the museum’s processes to maintain cleanliness and social distancing follow Government COVID-19 guidelines. \nChippenham & District Artists aim to support artists in this locality\, helping them to develop and improve their skills and to meet people who have similar interests. DESCRIPTION:PLEASE NOTE THIS EXHIBITION IS CURRENTLY CLOSED & WILL REOPEN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AFTER LOCKDOWN 2. \nThere isn’t a single aspect of life that hasn’t been affected by the coronavirus pandemic. This special exhibition brings together objects\, images and artworks donated to the museum by local businesses and the community to represent this important period in Chippenham’s history. \nChippenham Museum is free to visit\, with opportunity to drop-in between 10am and 1pm or book an hour’s sole use of the museum between 1pm and 4pm. For more details or to book visit www.chippenham.gov.uk/chippenham-museum or call 01249 705020. \nFrom half term until the end of the exhibition the museum is offering family friendly fun with Covid secure activity packs which can be used to explore the museum’s two floors of galleries. \nChippenham Museum\, a Chippenham Town Council facility\, is open Monday to Saturday 10am to 4pm with level access throughout.
