DESCRIPTION:A range of spooktacular family-friendly activities suitable for all ages and abilities! \nHalloween Trails (Every day from Tuesday 24 October – Sunday 29 October) \nJoin us for another year of amazing Halloween-themed trails around our galleries! Follow the Pumpkin Trail for a fun quiz around the galleries. Answer the questions right and you might just get a treat at the end! ‘Spot the Bat’ is a simple counting trail – find the bats hidden amongst our collections on display and win a prize if you find them all! \nAll the family can join in just pick up your chosen trail sheet from Reception. \nLEGO® Engineering Workshops (Pre-bookable sessions included in entry fee Tuesday 24th Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th October) \nUnleash your inner engineer and build a vehicle from LEGO® that will actually drive! \nLed by our Education Officer Andrew these sessions are limited in capacity to allow for suitable supervision please book your space in advance to avoid disappointment. \nRecommended for ages 7 and above. \nAssault Course (Drop-in Tuesday 24th Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th October) \nChallenge yourself to our miniature army-style assault course based on our grounds. Supervised by serving REME soldiers you’ll be sure to have fun and surprise yourself! \n(Please note: This activity is weather dependent)

SUMMARY:Making Spaces: Creative Project
DESCRIPTION:Chippenham Museum is launching a new project to work with Ukrainian families\, alongside a local artist\, to produce a new artwork exploring Chippenham and the surrounding area as a place of refuge. \nThe project is inspired by the work of Belgian artist Charles Wellens and Polish artist Piotr Potworowski\, who each fled conflicts in the 20th century and made their home in the area. Work by both artists is currently on display in the museum. \nThese sessions are free and family friendly\, but booking is required. \nIf you would like to take part or want to find out more please contact the museum on 01249 705020 or by emailing heritage@chippenham.gov.uk. We are also hosting an Open Evening for Ukrainian families and their hosts on Thursday 19 October\, where you can find out more about the museum and our Making Spaces project.
