This event combines the best parts of our previous Armed Forces Day events with a traditional Summer Fete\, so expect an exciting day out for all the family with loads to get involved in! \nFeaturing:\nA display of vehicles from our Reserve Collection; Bouncy castle; Interactive training aids and activities from the Corps Engagement Team; Classic games like hook-a-duck\, archery\, shooting gallery\, goal kick and more; Inflatable axe throwing; Serving personnel supervising activities and interacting with visitors to talk about their experiences in the Corps. \nRefreshments will be available to purchase from Crown’s Café\, which will only be open to visitors with a ticket to the event.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for some holiday fun! \nFrom 1-14 April\, we are running fun Easter holiday climbing sessions for 6-15 years at The Arc in Chippenham. No experience is required. \nA variety of sessions are available at both centres for the Easter Holiday Kids’ climbing sessions with additional kids & family taster sessions also running throughout the Easter week. All sessions last between 1 and 1.5hrs depending on which course you choose. Sessions are run by experienced coaches and will be loads of fun!

SUMMARY:Bristol Avon Rivers Trust - Yellow Fish
DESCRIPTION:Only rain down the drain! \nDid you know that surface road drains lead directly into your local watercourse? This means that anything other than rain poured down the drain\, such as litter\, car oils\, detergents\, weed killers or wastewater can harm river health and its wildlife! \nBristol Avon River Trust (BART) are running an exciting Yellow Fish Campaign in the local area to help raise awareness of the impacts of human activity on water quality in the Bristol Avon. We are hosting a series of Yellowfish events with the local community\, which involves putting up posters to spread the message and painting yellow fish next to surface drains to remind the public that what enters the drain\, flows directly into the nearby river or stream. \nVolunteers will use stencils and chalk-based yellow spray paint to mark a yellow fish shape (a great family friendly activity!) \nBristol Avon Rivers Trust: is a charity which delivers education\, land and river management advice and practical river restoration work throughout the Bristol Avon catchment. BART is working in partnership with Wessex Water through the Community Connectors project (https://www.wessexwater.co.uk/visit-and-learn/community-connectors). DESCRIPTION:Chippenham Lions will be holding a Cherished Vehicle and Family Fun Day on Sunday 4 June from 11am in the fields at Meadow Farm Nurseries\, Langley Burrell\, Chippenham\, SN15 4LW. \nThis is the eleventh year we have held this event and it grows in size and popularity every year. We will have a large variety of attractions for all the family to enjoy and we expect to have in excess of 300 cherished cars as well as a performance arena\, fairground\,\, craft\, charity\, trade stands and local food. \nThe site is in the Chippenham countryside with the Avon close by – and a couple of miles north of Chippenham and about three miles south of the M4 J17.
