DESCRIPTION:We’re so excited to bring you the long-awaited return of The Chippenham Comedy Festival! \nRunning from 1st – 3rd July 2022 at The Old Road Tavern\, we’ve got a fantastic line up in store for you. \nMost of the acts who’ll be joining us will be performing their ‘work in progress’ shows for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival so you’ll be getting to see their new work before everyone else. \nAll shows will take place in The Barn at The Old Road Tavern (entry via the Beer Garden). Each show will have a mixture of seating and standing room – seats are on a first come\, first served basis. DESCRIPTION:Sutton Benger Arts Festival – hosted by BArts \nFriday 15th\, Saturday 16th\, Sunday 17th July 2022. \nThis Arts Festival is a weekend of Live Music\, Dance\, Theatre\, Art\, Song\, Workshops and Children’s Activities. Everything from Folk\, Rock and Jazz\, to circus skills\, Art Exhibitions\, Arts and Craft stalls\, amusements and even a collection of cherished vehicles from the local area. Variety of food traders\, beer tent and Gin and Prosecco bar available all weekend. \nFestival line-up: \nFolk Friday (ticketed event)\nThree fantastic professional Folk bands all at one venue will open the festival. These are: FALSE LIGHTS\, FLATS & SHARPS\, and SUTHERING \n\nGates open 6.30pm\nTickets and more information available at www.bengerarts.org\n\nFestival Saturday\nFun packed family day with the choice to participate in art\, crafts\, theatre and music workshops\, strolling around the art exhibition\, browsing through the arts and craft stalls\, enjoying the fairground rides and getting involved in dancing a Ceilidh (Barn Dance) the finale of the day will be to sit back and enjoy fantastic live music on the stage provided by local bands:\nMICK O’TOOLE\, MY BELOVED MONSTER\, AIMIE K and RUSTY MIKES \n\nGates open 11am.\nLive music will start at approximately at 4pm.\n\nJazz Brunch Sunday\nCome along and chill out by enjoying a delicious brunch box available to purchase from Canape Kitchen and even a cocktail\, whilst listening to the wonderful Big Brunch Band. \n\nGates open 10.30am\n\n\nTruly something for everyone. \nLocation: Sutton Benger Recreational Ground\, Chestnut Road\, Sutton Benger\, Wiltshire\, SN15 4RP. SUMMARY:Box Ukulele Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Box Ukulele Festival is a jam packed\, family-friendly day\, full of musical ukulele fun! A fantastic and varied line up of musical ukulele talent is scheduled\, with ukulele groups from near and far performing on stage throughout the day. \nIf you thought ukulele was just about George Formby then think again! This festival hosts bands catering to every taste! \nGates open at 1pm\, with live music throughout the afternoon and into the evening (ending at 11pm). Food stalls will be available and The Queen’s Head bars will be open\, with an outdoor bar and stage undercover in case of inclement British summer weather. \nEntrance is £10 per adult\, children are free and all proceeds will be donated to the wonderful Dorothy House Hospice Care. With happy ukulele sounds\, strum-alongs\, delicious food\, plenty to drink and a great village location this is a festival for music lovers young and old. \nSo come along and join us and bring your ukulele if you fancy a strum-along!
