DESCRIPTION:Explore what life was like in Chippenham in the 1920s & 30s\, as objects\, costume\, photographs & artworks bring the era to life. \nMarking the centenary of the opening of John Coles Park in 1923\, this exhibition explores the glamour of the cinema and fashions from the period\, as well as strikes\, protests and the legacy and threat of war. \nTo accompany the exhibition\, there will be a programme of talks and events. More information can be found on the ‘What’s On’ page of our website. \nChippenham Museum\, a Chippenham Town Council facility\, is free entry\, open Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm\, including bank holidays.

Join us at the REME Museum to find out more about the REME Corps and learn from serving personnel themselves! \nWe’ll be joined by Soldiers and Officers from 5 Force Support Battalion and 8 Training Battalion\, as well as the Corps Engagement Team. \nTry your hand at some STEM-focussed training aids used by new recruits at MOD Lyneham.\nDiscover ‘Recovery Through Time’ as we display recovery vehicles from our Reserve Collection from World War Two to today.\nInteract with serving personnel and discover their stories and why they serve.
