DESCRIPTION:A chance to view the creative responses to objects in the museum collection by Wiltshire College & University Centre students at this special display in the Yelde Hall. \nAs part of their first year of study for a Level 3 Diploma in Creative Practice Art\, Design and Communication\, students have explored objects in the museum collection relating to the topic of Ritual and Routines. \nThey have gone on to create conceptual 2D and 3D responses which consider ethical design and social responsibility either in the materials used or the subject matter explored. \nTheir work will be on display in the town’s historic Yelde Hall Tuesday 14 March to Friday 17 March\, 10.30am – 1.30pm & Saturday 18 March 10.30am – 3.30pm \nMeet the Artists:\nOn Friday 17 March from 1.30pm – 3.30pm join students for a special meet the artist afternoon to view and discuss the work on display \nFree entry

SUMMARY:Printmaking Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Discover the techniques of watercolour monotype and drypoint printing in this one-day creative adult workshop led by artist and printmaker Amy-Jane Blackhall\, at Chippenham Museum. \nIn the first half of the session you will learn how to prepare plates for watercolour monotype printing and create painterly\, colourful backgrounds. In the afternoon you will produce a drypoint plate to be printed on your background. \nYour tutor for the session is Amy-Jane Blackhall who trained under Master Printer Jack Shirreff.
