DESCRIPTION:We’re excited this Summer to be able to offer young people the opportunity to achieve their Arts Award while exploring the art we have on display around the museum. \nThese sessions are led by our Education Officer and Education Assistant and must be pre-booked due to limited space. \nArts Award sessions cost £5 per family group\, which covers the cost of the certificate you will receive and the materials used throughout the session. Simply book your admission tickets on a workshop date\, then add the workshop ticket onto your booking.

The work included timber repairs\, restored plasterwork\, limework\, and the installation of a new pentice board\, which will help preserve the building’s frontage. \nThis beautiful and iconic building can now be enjoyed once again in all its glory during our summer morning openings. DESCRIPTION:In our next Collection Conversation\, we will be joined by Jane King and Judith Beeby. \nJane King studied for her Masters in ceramics at Bath Spa University’s Corsham Court Campus. King’s ceramic sculptures combine opposites of form\, texture\, and colour as metaphors for perfection and imperfection\, control and chaos. \nJudith Beeby studied at Bath Spa University. Living in Wiltshire she is continually inspired by its beauty. Her most recent work is inspired by the encroachment of urban and industrial elements into the rural environment. She is fascinated by the debate about man vs nature and the soft beauty of an English landscape being enhanced by strong industrial shapes.
