SUMMARY:Sparkly Singers
DESCRIPTION:Alongside our sessions in Calne (Monday lunchtimes) and Royal Wootton Bassett (Tuesday evenings)\, the Sparkly Singers meet every Thursday evening from 8:00pm at the Lansdowne Hall in Derry Hill. \nFounded with the simple aim of bringing the joy and benefits of group singing to everyone\, our emphasis is on singing in a way that is\, above all else\, fun. \nRather than splitting into parts and learning harmonies\, we prefer instead to sing in unison\, infusing songs with our own rather unique mix of humour\, movement and the occasional wacky prop. \nSo if you simply love to sing\, but have yet to find the choir that perfectly complements your sense of fun\, why not come along to one of our FREE taster sessions and see what we’re all about.

DESCRIPTION:Come along to Island Park\, which is just off Chippenham High Street to enjoy live musical entertainment.\nThere will be a licensed bar courtesy of Melt Bars\, as well as several vendors offering a variety of al fresco foods to be enjoyed. You are welcome to bring along your own picnics\, deckchairs\, picnic paraphernalia such as blankets and rugs\, but for the safety of all in attendance no glass will be allowed on site.\n\nThe line-up is as follows:\n\n13:45 – 14:30 & 14:45 – 15:30 (at the Bar) – Robbie CulleyRobbie Culley is a professional singer from Reading\, who started busking 2 years ago has travelled up and down the country performing to the towns and cities of the UK. This year he’s taking his music further by going on BBC Berkshire Radio to promote his first original song ‘Better off Alone’ which was released on all major platforms 5 February.\n\n15:30 – 16:15 & 16:30 – 17:15 (Main Stage) – Derek Nash Funk Experience\nDerek Nash Funk Experience plus special guest Noel McCalla\, celebrating the genius of Soul artists such as Al Green\, Marvin Gaye\, Stevie Wonder and Bill Withers the mesmeric vocalist\, Noel McCalla\, and award-winning saxophonist\, Derek Nash\, have put together a band of top musicians to play a wide-ranging back catalogue of classic hits by these soul legends. At the forefront of the British jazz movement\, Derek Nash is one of the most versatile saxophonists in the UK today.\n\n17:45 – 18:30 & 18:45 – 19:30 (Main Stage) – Mojo Dynamics Cover Band\nMojo Dynamics Cover Band are a four-piece band delivering hits from all eras and genres encouraging everyone to ‘get up and dance’. Mojo have toured the UK as well as played and performed internationally. Mojo will definitely bring the party vibe to the ‘Summer Party in the Park’.\n\n20:00 – 20:45 & 21:00 – 21:45 (Main Stage) – Rule the World\nRule the World are an award-winning official number one Take That tribute band who have played their accomplished act and performed at many prestigious events around the world. They are the only Take That tribute band to have been praised by Take That’s lead singer as being the nearest to the ‘real thing’. This three-piece band is sure to complete and make the evening a memorable experience!\n\nThere will be short comfort breaks in between the performances to allow for changeovers of the acts as well as time for you to refresh any food and drinks supplies.\n\nThis event is free to attend.
