DESCRIPTION:Come along and work with: Rob Brian – drumming tutor and performer \nGroup 1 (11-13’s or beginners) 11.30 – 1pm\nPizza 1 – 1.30pm\nGroup 2 (14-18 or improvers) : 1.30 pm – 3pm\nYouth Cafe 3-4.30pm (Feel free to perform if you wish) \nTry your hand at drumming or develop the skills you already have. Under Rob’s expert tuition you will learn how a drummer keeps a band together as well as how to create amazing\, textural percussion music. \nRobert Brian is based in the Bath/Bristol area and is a busy session/touring drummer. He also performs drum clinics/masterclass’ around the country for DW drums and Vulcan cymbals. \nRob has recorded/toured with Loreena McKennitt\, Clara Ponty\, Michel Polnareff\, Goldfrapp\, Miles Kane\, Laura Pausini\, Siouxsie Sioux\, Simple Minds\, Hugh Cornwell\, Modern English\, Innes Sibun\, Andy Partridge\, Black Box\, Jason Rebello\, Colin Moulding\, Coati Mundi and Charlie Jones.\nIn 2013 Rob became a Drum Workshop endorser and played 2 sold out shows at the Royal Festival Hall with Siouxsie as part of Yoko Ono’s Meltdown Festival.

DESCRIPTION:Alongside our sessions in Chippenham (Monday lunchtimes) and Royal Wootton Bassett (Tuesday evenings)\, the Sparkly Singers meet every Thursday evening from 8:00pm at the Lansdowne Hall in Derry Hill. \nFounded with the simple aim of bringing the joy and benefits of group singing to everyone\, our emphasis is on singing in a way that is\, above all else\, fun.\nRather than splitting into parts and learning harmonies\, we prefer instead to sing in unison\, infusing songs with our own rather unique mix of humour\, movement and the occasional wacky prop. \nSo if you simply love to sing\, but have yet to find the choir that perfectly complements your sense of fun\, why not come along to one of our FREE taster sessions and see what we’re all about.
