DESCRIPTION:Why don’t you kick off your morning of the Teen Takeover weekend with a brisk 5k!! \nChippenham Parkrun is a FREE weekly 5km event for runners of all standards\, which takes place every Saturday at 9am in Monkton Park\, Chippenham\, Wiltshire. Meet: 8:50am at the Multi-use Games Area in Monkton Park \nThe course is run on a mixture of trail paths\, tarmac paths and gravel paths. Some sections of the course may accumulate mud\, leaves and puddles after rain. \nIt offers an opportunity for all the local community\, regardless of age or gender\, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy the outdoors and get physically active. We want to encourage people to run\, jog\, walk and volunteer together – this event is truly open to all and best of all it really is FREE! \nTaking part is easy – just register before your first ever parkrun and remember to bring a scannable copy of your registration barcode\, that way your running time will be recorded. \nSuitable for ages 11+ (under 11’s welcome to walk/run the course but must complete the course with an adult) \nFor more details visit: https://www.parkrun.org.uk/chippenham/ \n\nDid you know Chippenham junior parkrun takes place every Sunday (ages 4 to 14) – junior parkrun is a series of 2k runs for children aged between 4 and 14. DESCRIPTION:Wiltshire Outdoor Learning Team are back again in Island Park with a Zip-wire experience as part of the Teen Takeover on Saturday 27th April. \nCome to Island Park (between old Wilkos and the Olympiad\, SN15 3JP) and experience the 60 metre long zip-wire for FREE. Starting at 11 metres high it’s a chance to experience something totally different in Chippenham! \nThe Zip-line will be open between 10am and 3pm. To avoid disappointment\, please book your place on one of the 30 minute sessions. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWiltshire Outdoor Learning Team (WOLT) are a not-for-profit organisation delivering outdoor learning activities across Wiltshire with sessions designed to challenge\, develop\, educate and make the outdoors enjoyable.
