DESCRIPTION:On International Women’s Day 2023 join in our Open Mic session. Anyone is welcome to perform\, although we also want to strongly encourage woman to take part\, especially if they have not performed at an open mic or in public before. \nYou can sing a song or two\, recite a poem\, play an instrument. You can stand up on your own or with others (but don’t forget we are a small pub\, so Chumbawumba for example won’t fit in the space). The only thing we ask is that whatever your contribution\, it fits with the celebratory spirit of the day.

Performances of the hit musical about strikes for equal pay will take place from 22-25th March with tickets now on sale via the Neeld box office. \n\nThis uplifting musical tells the story of the Ford sewing machinists who stood up and fought for equal pay in 1968. It’s a story of friendship\, love and fighting for what’s right\, with powerful and fun musical numbers of course! \n \nThis funny\, touching and timeless musical has music by David Arnold\, lyrics by Richard Thomas\, and a book by Richard Bean.
