DESCRIPTION:Returning to school after the summer holidays can be a daunting prospect for many.\nIt can cause stress\, anxiety and unease. \nPerhaps your child is moving up to a secondary school.\nPerhaps they are moving to a different school.\nPerhaps your child is sensitive to change and finds it difficult to deal with.\nPerhaps their experience of being at school is not always enjoyable.\nPerhaps they just need a space in which they can re-charge and re-set their mind for the new school year. \nI understand how stressful and demanding the transition can be both for children and parents. \nThis summer I’d like to help you make the experience a bit easier\, smoother and less stressful. \nThat’s why we’ve decided to hold a mindfulness and meditation workshop. \nWhat would it be like to spend 2 hours in a space in which your child can totally relax\, escape their worries\, be free of anxiety and stress ? \nWhat would it be like for you and your child to spend 2 hours exploring your ability to find peace through fun mindful activities and games\, through listening to soothing sounds and a guided visualisation? \nWhat would it be like to learn techniques which can help you and your children ease their anxiety helping them manage their return to school better? \nWhat would it feel like to be with your child\, be truly present with them and create genuine connection for you so that you can support them during the transition back to school and beyond? \nOur mindfulness and meditation workshop for parents and children offers just that. \nI’m Katerina\, founder of MindCraft\, and at the very end of the summer holidays I bring you a unique workshop for children and their parents. My workshop is designed to support children\, young teens and their parents who: \n– find the transition back to school after the summer holidays a challenge\n– suffer from anxiety\, stress or overwhelm\nare sensitive to change. DESCRIPTION:Neptune Swim School’s popular intensive swimming crash courses will be running this summer at Starfish Hydrotherapy Pool\, Malmesbury Road\, Chippenham. \nOur crash courses are available for children aged 3 years+\, the perfect way to introduce your young child to the swimming lesson environment and learn some basic water skills. \nThe intensive courses are also an ideal opportunity for swimmers to move further along on their swim program\, improve their existing strokes and learn exciting new skills. \nWe currently offer crash courses for our Ducklings\, Turtles and Jellyfish stages (equivalent to Swim England Stages 1-4.) \nAll courses are 5 days\, with children swimming every day for 25 minutes. DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Valentine’s Day with us on Tuesday 14th February! From 11am – 3pm\, enjoy a fun-filled day of activities! \nWe are hosting a FREE craft workshop and invite you to take part in making cute love bugs out of recycled materials and creating a Valentine’s Day card for your loved ones. \nEvent T&C’s \n\nChildren aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult over 18\nThis workshop is suitable for ages 3 – 10 years old.\nThis event is free to attend.\nEmery Gate Shopping Centre reserves the right to refuse entry.\nEmery Gate Shopping Centre at its absolute discretion reserves the right at any time to cancel or amend events\, activities\, workshops\, alter times\, prices and services without notice.\nIf the event is cancelled in its entirety\, Emery Gate Shopping Centre will use our reasonable endeavours to notify you as soon as reasonably possible.\nDogs and all other pets are not permitted within the Emery Gate Shopping Centre or any events. DESCRIPTION:Inclusive Play Sessions taking place twice a month from 3-5pm at Springfield Community Campus in Corsham (families from Chippenham and surrounding areas are welcome to attend). \nWHO\n\nNeurodivergent and/or disabled children aged 12 and under\nParents and carers must stay\nSiblings are welcome too\n\nWHEN AND WHAT\nBoth sessions offer activities in a large hall\, giving plenty of space for children to lead their own play.
