SUMMARY:Symposium - Subversive Forms: Revolutionary approaches to clay
DESCRIPTION:Developing the themes explored in Chippenham Museum’s exhibition ‘Subversive Forms’\, this symposium day will feature illustrated talks and discussion panel with six of the exhibiting artists. \nFelicity Aylieff\, Nicholas Lees\, Halima Cassell\, Patricia Volk\, Jonathan Keep and Mimi Joung will discuss the work included in the exhibition as well as their individual practices\, pushing the boundaries of possibility with clay. \nThe artists will then join Alun Graves\, Senior Curator of Ceramics and Glass at the V&A\, in a panel discussion chaired by writer and lecturer Conor Wilson. \n📅 Saturday 7 February 2026\n⏲️ 10am – 4pm\n📍 Chippenham Town Hall\n🎟️ £6 per ticket\, booking essential \nFor the programme and speaker biographies\, please see Chippenham Museum’s What’s On page.
