DESCRIPTION:Our Youth Theatre is BACK with a bang as we’re going to be taking part in the National Youth Theatre Connections Festival 2027!! \nLed by Drama coach and local actor\, Lisa Southam\, and supported by actor Adam and Rag and Bone Arts Director Laura\, our Youth Theatre is for school years 9-12. \nWe’re going to be performing one of the National Youth Theatre plays as part of their Connections plays! Our partner Theatre is the Bristol Old Vic Theatre and we’re VERY excited about it. \nIf you’d really like to be a part of our projects but are not sure about performing\, talk to us about joining us to help with production roles. Art is happening next door 5.30-6.45pm too so you might be able to move between the two. \nWednesdays during term time 5.30 – 7.30pm  \nTerm 1:  September 16th – October 14th/November 4th – Dec 2nd (10 weeks) \nTerm 2: January 3rd – February 10th 2027/Feb 24th – March 24th (10 weeks) Our Bristol Old Vic performance is week beginning 15th March 2027 \nTerm 3: April 14th – May 12th/June 9th – July 7th (10 weeks) \n£85 for a 10 week term\, with huge thanks to the Wiltshire Community Foundation and Chippenham Area Board for their generous grants. SUMMARY:Collab Crafters : Minecraft Education Club
DESCRIPTION:A weekly Saturday morning club in Chippenham for children aged 7 to 11 who love Minecraft\, run by a qualified primary school teacher. \nCollab Crafters uses Minecraft Education\, the version built for the classroom\, to teach children how to design and build properly. The club runs across the year in six-week terms\, and each term has its own focus. Children start with the foundations of building well\, then move into making things work with redstone\, designing whole places\, and eventually coding. \nEverything happens in a shared world\, so the children have to talk to each other\, agree on plans and think about how their work fits alongside everyone else’s. Collaboration is the point\, not an afterthought. \nSessions run every Saturday from 10:00am to 11:30am at Monkton Park Golf Course. Groups are kept small so every child gets proper support\, and laptops and software licences are provided. No previous Minecraft experience is needed\, and children who have played at home and children who have never opened it both get on well. \n£99 for a six-week term\, which can be paid in full or in two instalments. Sessions are led by an enhanced DBS-checked teacher and the club is fully insured.

DESCRIPTION:Join Cycle Chippenham and Chippenham’s #BigBikeRevival at the Chippenham Repair Cafe in partnership with Zero Chippenham and Share and Repair Bath. \nWe’ll be offering \n\nFREE small bike checks and repairs\nFREE refreshments\nSmall consumables such as inner tubes or brake pads are FREE if we have them available on the day.\nFREE updated printed Chippenham Cycle Maps\n\nFunded by Cycling UK as part of the #BigBikeRevival \nSo if you need a new inner tube or brake pads and we have them we can repair them for FREE. Think minor repairs\, checks or adjustments that take approximately 20 minutes. \nWe expect to have two repair volunteers on the day and Repair Cafes have an element of learning where you can follow the repair through. Though we are happy for people to just turn up on the day\, as this is the first one we’ve run we’d really appreciate you reserving a FREE ticket to give us an idea of numbers. \nSo bring your bike and join us for the Chippenham Repair Cafe launch! DESCRIPTION:Don’t throw it away – come to your new local Chippenham Repair Cafe! \nCome to your new local Repair Cafe for:- \n\nSewing Repairs (not alterations)\nGeneral Repairs\nElectrical Repairs\nCycle Checks and small repairs\n\nOur Cycle checks are run in partnership with Cycle Chippenham as part of the #BigBikeRevival. To aid with repairs Cycle Chippenham have a simple timeslot booking. \nOur Repair Cafe is a volunteer run partnership between volunteer group Zero Chippenham and Bath Based charity Share and Repair  \nOur motto is  “If you can carry it – we’ll try to fix it” \nWe typically allow 20 minutes to investigate and try and repair an item\, though this can take longer. It’s also a learning process so we encourage you to sit with the repairer and follow the repair through. Sometimes we identify parts that need to be ordered to complete a repair. \nThere is also a social and cafe element where you can meet people and share conversations.\nEveryone is welcome! \nThe cafe is run by volunteers and donations to support the cafe running are welcome on the day. \nWe look forward to meeting you all!

You’ll explore the shapes\, textures\, and tones of trees in their autumn glory\, learning how to capture their beauty in a painting that feels expressive and full of atmosphere. \nWe’ll cover approachable watercolour techniques for painting foliage\, trunks\, branches\, and light\, with guidance on colour mixing and simple composition to help your trees feel alive on the page. Whether you’re drawn to fiery reds and golds\, soft earthy tones\, or misty autumn scenes\, you’ll be encouraged to paint in a way that suits your own style – loose and expressive or more detailed. \nThis session is beginner-friendly\, designed for enjoyment and experimentation rather than technical perfection (though if improving skill is your goal\, I can of course support you with this!). You can choose to paint a single tree\, a group of trees\, or an autumn woodland scene\, and I’ll be there to offer as much or as little guidance as you’d like. \nBy the end of the workshop\, you’ll have your own autumn tree painting to frame\, gift\, or keep as a seasonal memento\, along with an Introduction to Watercolour booklet to help you continue exploring watercolour at home. \nWe’ll have exclusive use of The Waverley’s spacious main upstairs room\, and a complimentary drink of your choice is included in your ticket. \nAll materials are provided (or you’re welcome to bring your own)\, and no prior drawing experience is needed – just curiosity\, cosy autumn vibes\, and a willingness to experiment.

To aid with repairs Cycle Chippenham have a simple timeslot booking. \nOur Repair Cafe is a volunteer run partnership between volunteer group Zero Chippenham and Bath Based charity Share and Repair  \nOur motto is  “If you can carry it – we’ll try to fix it” \nWe typically allow 20 minutes to investigate and try and repair an item\, though this can take longer. It’s also a learning process so we encourage you to sit with the repairer and follow the repair through. Sometimes we identify parts that need to be ordered to complete a repair. \nThere is also a social and cafe element where you can meet people and share conversations.\nEveryone is welcome! \nThe cafe is run by volunteers and donations to support the cafe running are welcome on the day. \nWe look forward to meeting you all!

DESCRIPTION:Join me for a relaxed\, creative afternoon of painting your very own Christmas card design\, with the option to have it turned into printed cards afterwards (see below for more info)! \nIn this workshop\, you’ll learn the techniques of watercolour painting while creating your own Christmas card design. You’ll receive a printed copy of my Introduction to Watercolour booklet\, full of tips and guidance to help you continue your painting after the workshop. \nYou can choose any subject you like for your design\, and I’ll be there to guide you in creating your own version. Some ideas could be a robin\, wreath\, tree\, stockings\, winter cottage\, baubles\, reindeer\, a festive front door… the possibilities are endless! What do you love seeing on a Christmas card? \nI’d advise having something in mind beforehand and maybe choosing a picture to bring with you to the workshop (printed or on your phone) to use as a reference. \nAll materials and equipment will be provided. SUMMARY:Rag & Bone Youth Theatre
DESCRIPTION:Our Youth Theatre is BACK with a bang as we’re going to be taking part in the National Youth Theatre Connections Festival 2027!! \nLed by Drama coach and local actor\, Lisa Southam\, and supported by actor Adam and Rag and Bone Arts Director Laura\, our Youth Theatre is for school years 9-12. \nWe’re going to be performing one of the National Youth Theatre plays as part of their Connections plays! Our partner Theatre is the Bristol Old Vic Theatre and we’re VERY excited about it. \nIf you’d really like to be a part of our projects but are not sure about performing\, talk to us about joining us to help with production roles. Art is happening next door 5.30-6.45pm too so you might be able to move between the two. \nWednesdays during term time 5.30 – 7.30pm  \nTerm 1:  September 16th – October 14th/November 4th – Dec 2nd (10 weeks) \nTerm 2: January 3rd – February 10th 2027/Feb 24th – March 24th (10 weeks) Our Bristol Old Vic performance is week beginning 15th March 2027 \nTerm 3: April 14th – May 12th/June 9th – July 7th (10 weeks) \n£85 for a 10 week term\, with huge thanks to the Wiltshire Community Foundation and Chippenham Area Board for their generous grants.
