DESCRIPTION:Find out how your business can save energy costs and carbon\, and if you’re eligible for a free energy survey and funding of up to £6\,000* \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHeld in collaboration with Chippenham Town Council\, Good Energy and Severn Wye Energy Agency\, this event is aimed at small to medium sized businesses operating within the Wiltshire Council area\, who are looking to improve their energy efficiency. \nJoin us for some light refreshements at this evening event in Chippenham on Tuesday 4 March\, where you will learn about the steps that your business can take to become more energy efficient\, leading you towards cost savings and reduced carbon emissions. \nAt this event\, you’ll gain an understanding of: \n\nWhat to consider when improving energy efficiency within your business\n\n\nWhat are the free\, low-cost and investment opportunities\n\n\nWhat are the benefits of becoming more energy efficient\n\n\nWhat grants are available and how you can apply\n\nThere is also a Q&A session at the end for you to ask any question you may have. \nLight refreshments will include sandwiches\, snacks and a selection of drinks. \nGood Energy recently achieved B Corp status\, the only home energy supplier in the UK to do so. DESCRIPTION:Love to sing? \nThe Village Singers are a community choir with members of all ages coming from the villages and towns around Chippenham. We have no auditions and we always welcome new members. We have been making music together since 2011. \nWe are united by our love of music and our love of fun but also through many shared emotional experiences. It’s all about having fun and singing in the afternoon! \nMatt runs 4 popular Good Afternoon Community Choirs every week and loves the fun of singing together and making amazing music during the afternoons.  Matt lives in Bath where he is well-known as Musical Director of the Bath Light Operatic Group\, you may well have attended one of their wonderful shows at the Bath Theatre Royal in years past.  All Good Afternoon Choir members enjoy singing Matt’s very special arrangements\, especially at the Big Sings when all the Good Afternoon Choirs join together to sing in one venue. \nA warm welcome awaits any new members\, there are NO auditions and everyone is welcome!  There is no charge for attending your first rehearsal.   Come alone or with a friend – either way Matt and the Choir will be pleased to meet you.  You will be joining over 1\,000 people singing at Good Afternoon Choirs around the South West and beyond! \nMembership forms are available to collect at every rehearsal.  The choir rehearsals are in 4 terms of 10 weeks and members pay £58 per term – this covers room and piano hire\, music\, admin and musician fees.  You do not need to join at the start of a term\, you can simply come along to any rehearsal and pick up a membership form should you wish to join the choir – your fee will then be worked out for the remainder of that term. \nIf you have any questions about the Choir please contact Tracey or Karin via email gac@grenvillemusic.co.uk or tel 01761 472468. \n

DESCRIPTION:We’re back! \nFor ages 13+ – (mature aged 12’s welcome) you can do art and design or acting improvisation next door. \nDelivered in 10 week blocks \nFor 12-17yrs: 5.30pm – 7pm at St Pauls Church Hall\, Malmesbury Rd Chippenham – AN EXTRA HOUR YOUTH CLUB FOR THE FIRST 5 WEEKS! \nTerm 2: January 8th 2025 – Feb 5th 2025/ Feb 26th -March 26th 2025 (HALF PRICE TERM AND EXTRA HOUR YOUTH CLUB IN JAN) \nTerm 3: April 23rd – May 21st/ June 4th – July 2nd 2025 \nWe won’t be doing shows in this session\, but honing our improvisation skills and maybe doing a gig to a paying audience\, for those who want to take this leap. If your’e keen and able\, you’ll be asked to join our Saturday Theatre Company to work with the adults 🤩 \nTaught by professional actor Jim Coupland and workshop assistant Izzy Perkins. SUMMARY:Chippenham Memory Cafe
DESCRIPTION:Our first café opened in 2009 as a meeting place for people with dementia and their families\, at a time when there were few opportunities to socialise with others affected. Since then our seven cafés have developed into much-valued social and information-gathering occasions where people can strike up friendships\, chat informally to professionals\, find out more about dementia and support from a wide range of speakers\, and enjoy refreshments and entertainment. \nChippenham Memory café meets fortnightly for activities\, chat\, and a chance to catch up informally with dementia professionals. As well as the general café\, there is also a quieter area where couples can sit and enjoy the refreshments and entertainment. \nFind out more and book here.
