He will present a talk with details about his journey into football\, his time during his Tottenham reign and events throughout his life during and since his 50 years in football. This is a ticket only event which will include a homemade meal and a drink. Towards the end of the night there will be a Q&A where you will be given the chance to ask Steve Perryman your questions. \nThe night will be raising funds for ‘Kandu Arts’ who are best known for working with the most marginalized individuals and hardest to reach groups including the homeless\, those with mental health difficulties\, refugees\, children in care\, those who are economically\, socially\, and geographically isolated\, of all ages and backgrounds. \nKandu’s methodology is to engage people in exploring solutions to the problems created by our culture and social histories in a holistic way\, with an emphasis on the liberating and empowering experience of the arts\, music\, and sports. \nPlease visit our Facebook Page:\nKandu Arts For Sustainable Development

For me it’s always been a way of expressing how I’m feeling. Music for me is an escape and it’s truly what I enjoy doing. If I could do one thing for the rest of my life then it would be to perform. I take influence from artists such as Lianne La Havas and Joy Crookes. Performing and creating music that people can relate to is all I can ever wish to do\, and I thank every single person who takes time out of their days to watch me live my dream. \nLuke Gittins is a 22 year-old singer songwriter from Chippenham. Come along on a Thursday evening from 7:30-9pm to learn some fantastic gospel\, blues and soul songs with great tunes and beautiful harmonies. \nOur repertoire is changing and developing all the time. It currently includes O Happy Day\, Down In The River To Pray\, Trumpets\, Goodnight Sweetheart and other joyful\, fun\, soul and gospel classics. \nThe emphasis is on bringing the music to life. We move\, dance\, clap; we infuse the music with fun and laughter. We also encourage people to sing solos\, duets and in quartets and enable newcomers and beginners to find their voice and experience the joy of singing. \nEnjoy singing quick-to-learn tunes and discover the satisfaction of singing in a group! \nEach session is £8. DESCRIPTION:In response to the devastating earthquake that struck near Gaziantep in the early hours of Monday 6th February\, Kandu Arts are raising money for those who have lost family\, their homes and who are seeking refuge in a country that is responding to this unexpected disaster. \nKandu Arts will continually be providing live music\, poetry and delicious homemade cakes in their Kandu S.H.O.P (Social Hub Of Positivity) located in Emery Gate Shopping Centre\, Chippenham. This will be starting\, Tuesday 7th of February\, until the end of the week in hopes to bring awareness and raise money for those who are currently suffering in Turkey and Syria due to the 7.5 magnitude earthquake. \nFEBRUARY 9TH – FUNDRAISING GIG AT THE FLYING MONK FROM 7:30PM \nKandu Arts will be hosting a fundraising gig at The Flying Monk in the heart of Chippenham – Market Place – with live music from Geoff Hill\, Ed Deedigan\, Jess Wilks\, Jonah Jones and many more. \nKandu Arts have been working with families\, young people and the community\, often the most marginalized and hardest to reach since 1998. In response to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine\, leaving thousands left homeless\, Kandu Arts has successfully raised money and awareness for Ukraine by hosting fundraising concerts. With the support of the local community\, Kandu wishes to try and raise as money for the now homeless residents of both Turkey and Syria. \nAll proceeds collected by Kandu Arts will go to the Turkey and Syria Earthquake Disaster Relief. \nPlease visit our Facebook page for regular updates: Kandu.arts

SUMMARY:Swimming lessons - help us train new swimming teachers
DESCRIPTION:Did you know that alongside teaching lessons\, many of our Senior Teachers are also qualified to lead a wide range of aquatic courses\, including training new swimming teachers for Neptune and many other swim schools? To complete their qualifications our trainee swimming teachers need practice in teaching children during their time on the the course. That’s where we need your help! \nSwimming lessons with our trainees. \nOur expert team will have spent time training the new swimming teachers so they are ready to teach their first lessons before qualifying as fully fledged swimming teachers! Team Neptune will be on hand to supervise the lessons and evaluate the trainee teachers as part of their course. Each trainee teacher needs 4 children in each of their lessons. \nSession details \nThe sessions will run at Starfish Hydrotherapy Pool\, Malmesbury Road\, Chippenham. We’re looking for children aged 3 and upward to help\, and you don’t need to swim with Neptune already to take advantage of these extra lessons. If you swim with Neptune please book your child into a class the same level the one they currently swim in\, if you don’t swim with Neptune then please book your child into our Ducklings\, Turtles or Jellyfish classes as detailed below. All children will be in the water without their parents\, but there is poolside viewing available. \nDucklings level – aged 3 years to their 5th birthday \nTurtles level – aged 5 years plus or Swim England Stage 1 or 2 \nJellyfish level – or Swim England stage 3-4 \nEach lesson will be 30 minutes long and there’s no limit to the number of lessons you can book\, so simply complete the form (making sure you select Starfish Hydrotherapy Pool as the location) and select as many sessions as you like. Each 30 minute session costs £3 per child. \nAs well as helping us out the lessons are great extra swimming practice for your child!
