DESCRIPTION:Join us for lunch on Christmas Day – a celebration including dinner\, entertainment and gifts.\n\nThe Christmas lunch will bring together local people from Corsham\, Box\, Chippenham\, and surrounding villages who would like to be with others on Christmas day. Anyone is welcome as long as they book in advance.\n\nThe event is free to attend and will be held at Corsham Scout Hall\, The Lagger\, Corsham\, SN13 0DE. Donations are welcome from those who can afford it.\n\nGuests will be served coffee\, tea\, non-alcoholic cold drinks\, a 3-course meal\, and mince pies and biscuits. There will be a quiz\, tablecloth decorating and plenty of chatting. Transport can be arranged for those that require it (wheelchair accessible transport can usually be arranged if needed) from the Corsham\, Chippenham area. All guests will receive a small gift bag with a few wrapped presents and a Christmas card.\n\nPlaces must be booked ahead of the day and with limited spaces available pre-booking is essential. Please let us know any dietary requirements at the time of booking.

DESCRIPTION:For ages 12+\nYou can do art and design or acting improvisation \nDelivered in 10 week blocks \nTerm 1: September 17th – October 15th/ November 5th – Dec 3rd 2025 (Followed by Youth Club)\nTerm 2: January 7th – Feb 4th 2026/Feb 25th – March 25th 2026 (Followed by Youth Club)\nTerm 3: April 15th – May 13th / June 3rd – July 1st 2026 \nWe won’t be doing shows in this session\, but honing our improvisation skills and maybe doing a gig to a paying audience\, for those who want to take this leap. If you’re keen and able\, you’ll be asked to join our Saturday Theatre Company to work with the adults. \nTaught by professional actor Rebecca Osborne. DESCRIPTION:Sparkly Singers is the award-winning Wiltshire-based choir experience\, founded with the simple aim of bringing the joy and benefits of group singing to everyone\, regardless of age\, experience or ability.\nRather than splitting into parts and learning harmonies\, we prefer instead to sing in unison\, infusing songs with our own rather unique mix of humour\, movement and the occasional wacky prop.\nAlongside our sessions in Chippenham (Monday lunchtimes) and Royal Wootton Bassett (Tuesday evenings)\, the Sparkly Singers meet every Thursday evening from 8:00pm at the Lansdowne Hall in Derry Hill.\nSo if you simply love to sing\, but have yet to find the choir that perfectly complements your sense of fun\, why not enquire about one of our FREE taster sessions and come and see what we’re all about.

DESCRIPTION:Calling all performers aged 13 and up (including adults) \nA NEW performance company for young people and adults. \nWe spent time in June 2025 exploring ideas and working together to see what sort of work we all wanted to create and this will now be followed by a 9 week rehearsal period from Saturday 27th September\, followed by an intensive rehearsal period in January 2026 finishing a performance on Feb 7th 2026 (Venue – TBC – as we’ll come up with that together). \nWhether you’re a seasoned actor or just starting out\, why not showcase your talent and connect with like-minded locals? It may be that you prefer to be backstage or help with the design and production. Whatever your skills\, we’ll find something for you that’ll bring out your best and get you involved\, if it’s the right fit for you and us. \nAll members who sign up must be available for all of the dates below:September 27th\nOctober 4th\, 11th and 18th\nNovember 1st\, 8th\, 15th\, 22nd and 29th\nJan 10th\, 17th\, 24th and 31st\nFeb 7th (Venue TBC) \n(£55 for the whole project (June 2025 to February 2026)\, thanks to the Wiltshire Community Foundation. SUMMARY:Annual Twelfth Night Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Keep the festive spirit going and join us for Twelfth Night\, our annual celebration of the events of 878CE. With the help of Manaraefan Viking & Anglo-Saxon Re-enactment Group\, we’ll be exploring our Royal Saxon past and the part Chippenham played in making King Alfred great! \nThis year we will also be joined by local artist April Barlow\, who will be bringing plenty of creative festive fun. Come along and discover what was hidden in the Twelfth Night cake\, who the Lord of Misrule was and what they got up to\, and find out which party game Jane Austen liked to play.
