DESCRIPTION:Walking Hockey is exactly as the name suggests – you play Hockey while walking – and is perfect for players who are looking for a less physically demanding version of the sport\, but still enjoy participating\, showing their skills and being involved in the team and social aspect of the sport. \nThe game is played on a smaller pitch with lighter balls and rules adapted for safety and accessibility. \nWe operate a weekly social mixed game at 6pm on Monday evenings all year round. Players of all ages and abilities are welcome. There’s always laughter and quite often the chance for a social drink afterwards if you feel like it!

DESCRIPTION:Chippenham Art Group meets monthly on Wednesdays in St Paul’s Church Hall\, Greenway Lane\, Chippenham. It’s led by artist Fran Young and organised by our experienced community services coordinator Pam Ollis. \nProjects ranging from painting and drawing to collage\, printing\, crafts\, clay modelling and more. We work at a leisurely pace with plenty of time for conversation and connection. No previous experience of art is necessary and everyone works at their own pace. DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the rich colours and changing moods of autumn in this relaxed\, creative watercolour workshop. You’ll explore the shapes\, textures\, and tones of trees in their autumn glory\, learning how to capture their beauty in a painting that feels expressive and full of atmosphere. \nWe’ll cover approachable watercolour techniques for painting foliage\, trunks\, branches\, and light\, with guidance on colour mixing and simple composition to help your trees feel alive on the page. Whether you’re drawn to fiery reds and golds\, soft earthy tones\, or misty autumn scenes\, you’ll be encouraged to paint in a way that suits your own style – loose and expressive or more detailed. \nThis session is beginner-friendly\, designed for enjoyment and experimentation rather than technical perfection (though if improving skill is your goal\, I can of course support you with this!). You can choose to paint a single tree\, a group of trees\, or an autumn woodland scene\, and I’ll be there to offer as much or as little guidance as you’d like. \nBy the end of the workshop\, you’ll have your own autumn tree painting to frame\, gift\, or keep as a seasonal memento\, along with an Introduction to Watercolour booklet to help you continue exploring watercolour at home. \nWe’ll have exclusive use of The Waverley’s spacious main upstairs room\, and a complimentary drink of your choice is included in your ticket. \nAll materials are provided (or you’re welcome to bring your own)\, and no prior drawing experience is needed – just curiosity\, cosy autumn vibes\, and a willingness to experiment.

Our Work Part Organisers will be taking small groups on Work-site tours from 10:00\, explaining our current work and future plans. \n(NB: For the above tours\, please wear suitable footwear as the ground can be uneven and possibly wet and muddy in places [e.g. no flipflops]). \nAnd of course our popular Pop-up Café will be open from 10:00with tea\, coffee\, soft drinks and cakes available. \nWater levels and weather permitting\, we hope to run our Pewsham Locks Open days for 2026 on the second Saturday of each month\, from April to October.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for fun\, freedom and inclusive play at our Inclusive Play sessions in Corsham! These sessions create a welcoming space especially for neurodivergent children and their siblings\, where kids can explore\, play and be themselves with no judgement or expectations. \n🧩 Child-led play means children can move at their own pace\, try new activities\, and enjoy a safe environment to explore\, express and grow. \n📅 First Saturday of every month\n⏰ 3–5pm\n📍 Springfield Community Campus\, Corsham\n👧 For children aged 12 years & under\n🎟 Booking is essential – please book through the Campus before spaces fill up!\n📞 01249 468460\n(Booking opens 10 days before each session.) \nCost: \n\n£4 per child\n£2.80 per sibling\n\nActivities include: \n\nBouncy castle\nGiant Lego\nTrain set\nTuff trays & sensory play\nSwivel chairs & wheelie boards\nSensory den\nSoft play\nSensory slide\nBalance boards & sensory steps\nColouring corner\n\nThese sessions are all about creating a safe\, supportive space where children can play freely and families feel welcome. 🌈 \n📧 For more information: wiltshireinclusiveactivities@hotmail.com \nWe’d love to see you there! 😊
