DESCRIPTION:The Christmas lights switch-on will take place on Saturday\, 29th November with a fun-filled day of live music\, entertainment\, and festive fun. \nThe main stage in Market Place will host live music\, there will be a festive market\, and lots of family entertainment with street theatre and fun walkabout characters.  Chippenham Museum will have creative activities and the Yelde will host a Christmas craft market. \nBetween 12noon – 5.45pm\, there is a variety of family-friendly entertainment and activities to welcome Chippenham into the festive period and celebrate the switch-on of the Christmas lights. \nThe day includes performances from local favourites CLOGettes\, Robbie Culley and the Wiltshire Police Band\, alongside interactive walkabout entertainment and children’s creative activities. \nThis year we have 2 snow globes\, and Santa will abseil into town at 4.55pm to turn the lights on at 5pm. \nYou can see the programme in full HERE. You can collect a paper copy from Customer Services at the Town Hall.
