DESCRIPTION:2020 marked 150 years since the Rev. Francis Kilvert first began his diaries\, now enjoyed across the globe for their enchanting accounts of rural life in Victorian Britain. \nBorn in Chippenham\, Kilvert went on to be curate for his father in Langley Burrell. Explore the shades of Kilvert’s world and the local area through his diary entries. \nFeaturing two of the three surviving manuscripts\, on loan from The National Library of Wales\, Aberystwyth. \nChippenham Museum is a free entry Chippenham Town Council facility. Open 10am – 4pm Monday to Saturday\, visits are drop-in with no need to book.

We’re playing games\, taking part in exercises and generally having lots of fun making up short scenes. Join us to make sure that you can remember how to be creative and most importantly – LAUGH! \nWe’ll bring a bag of costumes and make up some stories to show each other at the end of each day.\n(These sessions run alongside our Art Summer School for 16+’s next door and can be booked together)
