Both beginners and experienced stitchers are welcome. \nThis session is for ages 8+ (unaccompanied) and booking is essential. \nFi Redmond is a local textile artist whose work features in the museum’s exhibition\, The Covid Chronicle. \nOpen at Chippenham Museum 9 April – 7 May with free entry\, The Covid Chronicle is a textile art project capturing the national collective experience of the pandemic. The large-scale artwork is touring the UK and features work by the Chippenham community\, including local artist Fi Redmond.

All proceeds will be going to the Mayor’s chosen charity\, Sight Research UK \nThe show is expected to include video of the GWR Steam Railmotor in action in various locations\, the loco King Edward II on the Dartmouth Railway\, steam on the Underground in central London\, a spectacular display of Spitfires\, Hurricanes and Messerschmitt 109s to mark the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain\, the final public flying display of the Avro Vulcan\, and vintage trams in action in Lisbon and New Orleans\, with added variety provided by paddle steamers.
