DESCRIPTION:Explore what life was like in Chippenham in the 1920s & 30s\, as objects\, costume\, photographs & artworks bring the era to life. \nMarking the centenary of the opening of John Coles Park in 1923\, this exhibition explores the glamour of the cinema and fashions from the period\, as well as strikes\, protests and the legacy and threat of war. \nTo accompany the exhibition\, there will be a programme of talks and events. More information can be found on the ‘What’s On’ page of our website. \nChippenham Museum\, a Chippenham Town Council facility\, is free entry\, open Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm\, including bank holidays.

To mark this special milestone\, we are hosting a quiz night that promises to be an evening of fun. \nDust off your bell-bottoms\, find your disco fever\, and don your best 1970s fancy dress attire\, as there will be a prize for the most impressive retro ensemble. \nIn addition to the quiz excitement\, we will be providing light refreshments to keep your energy up as you compete against other participants. It’s a great opportunity to socialise\, challenge your knowledge\, and make new friends in the community. \nTeams of six people maximum are allowed\, but don’t worry if you don’t have a full team.
