How often can you book a free Private View of an entire museum, including entry to an art exhibition? That is just what Chippenham Museum is offering at the moment. For the next two weeks visitors can soak up some culture by viewing a new Autumn Art exhibition as well as discovering Chippenham’s history.

A Private View ticket at Chippenham Museum allows for 1 to 6 people (up to 2 households/bubbles) to enjoy sole use of the museum for one hour. Pre-booking before your visit is essential. You can do this on their website, by calling 01249 705020 or by popping in to check when the next time slot is available.

The current exhibition showcases the work of Chippenham & District Artists (CDA) who are a group of local artists who formed over 20 years ago. Visitors can browse work in a range of mediums with opportunity to purchase locally produced pieces. CDA welcome new members to their group.

The museum Shop is also open and stocks a wide range of books, artists and makers inspired by the local area.

The museum’s Visitor Guidelines detail the things you need to know to make your visit safe and enjoyable. Visit England Good to Go status means the museum’s processes to maintain cleanliness and social distancing follow Government COVID-19 guidelines.
