Join us as scarecrows transform into powerful superheroes\, cunning villains\, and everything in between. \nMonkton Park’s 15th annual Scarecrow Trail is taking place on the 17th and 18th of May. This hugely popular event sees people from all over Chippenham and beyond descending on the Monkton Park Estate. With over 40 scarecrows\, it is one of the biggest trails in the area. \nTrail sheets are available from Monkton Park School\, The Tenth Hole Tea Room and Londis from 10am to 5pm on both days. \nOn Saturday 17th May there’s an also a BBQ\, bar and family fun day happening at Monkton Park School as part of the annual scarecrow trail – and on Sunday 18th May refreshments also available. \n  \n\n\n

Dress up if you like\, frightfully and warm. No booking necessary. Children under 8 to be accompanied by an adult. It will be a scream! \nAnd if you cycle along\, you can bring your bicycle to the Dr Bike event running alongside for a free bicycle health check!

DESCRIPTION:We are planning a weeding session at the Monkton Park Tiny Forest on Sunday 31st July for an hour\, please pop along to find out more or to help out (bring gloves). The saplings need some care for the first 2 years so they get all the nutrients they need to flourish. \nThe Tiny Forest is a great place for groups and individuals to visit and take part in scientific projects throughout the year. \nIf you can’t make it but are interested there are details on the sign at the forest and if you do a bit of weeding and leave the weeds the Town Council will collect them.
