There is a pop-up café from 10.15am where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes. \nMay’s music is a collection of pieces based on folk tunes and idioms: English (Butterworth: The Banks of Green Willow) and Irish (Joan Trimble Phantasy Trio) feature\, but alongside these are a few surprises! \nConcerts last c45m and entrance – or rather\, exit! – is by donation\, with a retiring collection. An RSVP via our website is much appreciated but not essential. Cafe Concerts are pay-what-you-feel via a retiring collection to keep live music affordable for everyone. DESCRIPTION:Our next concert is on October 18th 2025\, 7.30pm at St Andrew’s Church\, Chippenham\, and is titled “From Fields to Fjords” and will take you on a journey through a range of beautiful pieces by English composers\, culminating in the glorious Sunrise Mass\, written by Norwegian composer Ola Gjeilo.  For this concert\, we will be accompanied by a full string orchestra\, and it promises to be a truly amazing evening. \nAdvance tickets cost £15 for adults (18+)\, £12 for under 18s and are free for under 12s.  Subject to availability\, concert-day tickets will be available for purchase at the door and the adult price will be £17. \n  \nTickets can also be purchased via Ticketsource\, choir members\, or send us an email via our website contact page. \n

SUMMARY:Trio Paradis Café Concert: The Music of Trees
DESCRIPTION:Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan – piano\, Ruth O’Shea – violin & Linda Stocks – cello) play a Café Concert at St Andrew’s Church on the first Tuesday of each month at 11am: informal music events with a pop-up café from c10.30 where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes. \nSeptember’s music is inspired by trees and forests\, with music by Sibelius (Birch and Fir trees\, among others)\, Massenet (Lime Trees) and a forest scene from a Rimsky-Korsakov opera. \nConcerts last c45m and entrance – or rather\, exit! – is by donation\, with a retiring collection.
