DESCRIPTION:Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan – piano\, Ruth O’Shea – violin & Linda Stocks – cello) play a Café Concert at St Andrew’s Church on the first Tuesday of each month at 11am: informal music events with a pop-up café from 10.30 where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes. \nThis month’s music is inspired by the traditional travelling people of Eastern Europe\, with pieces including ‘Songs My Mother Taught Me’ by Dvořák\, Haydn’s Gypsy Rondo\, and various Dumkas and other dances. \nConcerts last c45m and entrance – or rather\, exit! – is by donation\, with a retiring collection. DESCRIPTION:Our next concert is on October 18th 2025\, 7.30pm at St Andrew’s Church\, Chippenham\, and is titled “From Fields to Fjords” and will take you on a journey through a range of beautiful pieces by English composers\, culminating in the glorious Sunrise Mass\, written by Norwegian composer Ola Gjeilo.  For this concert\, we will be accompanied by a full string orchestra\, and it promises to be a truly amazing evening. \nAdvance tickets cost £15 for adults (18+)\, £12 for under 18s and are free for under 12s.  Subject to availability\, concert-day tickets will be available for purchase at the door and the adult price will be £17. \n  \nTickets can also be purchased via Ticketsource\, choir members\, or send us an email via our website contact page. \n

DESCRIPTION:Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan – piano\, Ruth O’Shea – violin & Linda Stocks – cello) play a Café Concert at St Andrew’s Church on the first Tuesday of each month at 11am: informal music events with a pop-up café from 10.30 where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes. \nThis month’s programme is inspired by spirits and creatures of legend\, including a mermaid\, a water sprite\, elves\, a Greek God and a ghost. Music by Handel\, Gershwin\, Henriette Renié\, Rebecca Clarke and William Bolcom. \nConcerts last c45m and entrance – or rather\, exit! – is by donation\, with a retiring collection. SUMMARY:Trio Paradis: A Midsummer Night’s Dream
DESCRIPTION:Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan – piano\, Ruth O’Shea – violin & Linda Stocks – cello) play a Café Concert at St Andrew’s Church on the first Tuesday of each month at 11am: informal music events with a pop-up café from 10.15 where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes. \nThe music for June’s concert is inspired by summer and dreams\, and includes an arrangement of Dream Children by Elgar\, the Allegro from ‘Jacob’s Dream’ Trio in Eb by Haydn\, and music by Mendelssohn\, Turina and Rachmaninov. \nConcerts last c45m and entrance – or rather\, exit! – is by donation\, with a retiring collection.
