DESCRIPTION:Love to sing? \nThe Village Singers are a community choir with members of all ages coming from the villages and towns around Chippenham. We have no auditions and we always welcome new members. We have been making music together since 2011. \nWe are united by our love of music and our love of fun but also through many shared emotional experiences. DESCRIPTION:Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan – piano\, Ruth O’Shea – violin & Linda Stocks – cello) play a Café Concert at St Andrew’s Church on the first Tuesday of each month at 11am: informal music events with a pop-up café from 10.15 where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes. \nThe music for June’s concert is inspired by summer and dreams\, and includes an arrangement of Dream Children by Elgar\, the Allegro from ‘Jacob’s Dream’ Trio in Eb by Haydn\, and music by Mendelssohn\, Turina and Rachmaninov. \nConcerts last c45m and entrance – or rather\, exit! – is by donation\, with a retiring collection. We have no auditions and we always welcome new members. We have been making music together since 2011. \nWe are united by our love of music and our love of fun but also through many shared emotional experiences. DESCRIPTION:Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan – piano\, Ruth O’Shea – violin & Linda Stocks – cello) play a Café Concert at St Andrew’s Church on the first Tuesday of each month at 11am: informal music events with a pop-up café from 10.30 where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes. \nApril’s programme is inspired by the season of spring and includes the recently rediscovered Trio by Austrian Jewish composer Carl Frühling\, Gaubert Spring Morning and works by Cécile Chaminade\, Ivor Gurney\, Frank Bridge and others. \nConcerts last c45m and entrance – or rather\, exit! – is by donation\, with a retiring collection.
