DESCRIPTION:Welcome to our inaugural Live at the Yelde event – a chance to celebrate local talent in an intimate setting. \nJanuary’s line up consists of two singer songwriters. \nHarmony Asia – I’ve been playing and writing music for as long as I can remember. For me it’s always been a way of expressing how I’m feeling. Music for me is an escape and it’s truly what I enjoy doing. If I could do one thing for the rest of my life then it would be to perform. I take influence from artists such as Lianne La Havas and Joy Crookes. Performing and creating music that people can relate to is all I can ever wish to do\, and I thank every single person who takes time out of their days to watch me live my dream. \nLuke Gittins is a 22 year-old singer songwriter from Chippenham. During the lockdowns\, Luke started posting his music onto YouTube and was shared online by the likes of Elton John\, Alicia Keys\, Ed Sheeran\, Bastille and McFly. DESCRIPTION:An exhibition celebrating the heritage of Chippenham Station\, 180 years on from the station’s opening in 1841. \nEnjoy a journey through the station’s history from Victorian times to the present day. Taking place in the medieval timber framed Yelde Hall\, the exhibition is also a good opportunity to step inside one of Chippenham’s most historic buildings. \nThis exhibition has been created in partnership between the Friends of Chippenham Station and Chippenham Museum. \nThe Friends of Chippenham Station are a voluntary group seeking to promote and improve the experience of everyone using the station whether they be commuters\, shoppers or visitors. The group officially adopted Chippenham Station in 2019 through the Association of Community Rail Partnerships.
