Gospel Rocks! Chippenham’s Community Gospel Choir

An event every week that begins at 7:30 pm on Thursday, repeating until 30 March 2023
Open to all ages and all singing ability – you do not have to read music! Come along on a Thursday evening from 7:30-9pm to learn some fantastic gospel, blues and soul songs with great tunes and beautiful harmonies.
Our repertoire is changing and developing all the time. It currently includes O Happy Day, Down In The River To Pray, Trumpets, Goodnight Sweetheart and other joyful, fun, soul and gospel classics.
The emphasis is on bringing the music to life. We move, dance, clap; we infuse the music with fun and laughter. We also encourage people to sing solos, duets and in quartets and enable newcomers and beginners to find their voice and experience the joy of singing.
Enjoy singing quick-to-learn tunes and discover the satisfaction of singing in a group!
