A new Tech Club for Chippenham! Bringing likeminded people together with an interest in technology, design and manufacture, to make useful things for the community of Chippenham in a social and supportive environment.
What is ChipTIC?
A group of technology enthusiasts that will meet each week in a social space to ‘tinker’. We believe that if we put together people who love technology, then we can encourage one another to design and make technology products, learn from and support one another and make some useful things for the community.
What do you mean by technology?
Everything from Arduinos, Raspberry Pi, electronics, programming, 3D modelling, 3D printing, CNC routers, laser cutters, designing and making gadgets, such as drones and robots.
What will happen at ChipTIC?
Weekly Sessions – meet, socialise, share, learn and create.

Who should get involved?
Developers: Whatever your language, whether PHP, Python, C++, Java, Ruby, Javascript, HTML, or CSS we welcome all developers.
Technologists: Maybe you just play with a bit of everything from electronics and programming to laser cutters, 3d printing, 3D modelling. Whatever your interest, it’s all welcome.
This is a new social enterprise for Chippenham so we are at the early stages of seeking people who would like to join us. When a sufficient number of people have signed up, there will be a launch event for everyone where we can find out what people want from the club and how we can go about providing that.
