Do you run an organisation or group in the Chippenham area that provides activities for teens ages 13-19 (up to 25 for those with SEND needs)? Are you looking for a way to showcase your offer to young people in our community? Sign up now to deliver as part of the 2024 Teen Takeover event happening 27th-28th April.
Teen Takeover is a weekend dedicated to highlighting the wide range of youth programming already active in our area, as well as adding in new fun workshops, performances, arts activities, music events and sports for teens to take part in. This exciting event is being organised by the Local Youth Network (LYN) as part of the Chippenham Area Board.
We want to make all Teen Takeover activities completely free for participants, so are actively seeking both funding and community partners to help make this vision a reality. Our goal is for every young person in the Chippenham area to have the chance to take part, regardless of financial limitations.
By gathering feedback after the event from both activity leaders and teen participants, we also hope to identify any gaps in current youth programming locally. Our long-term vision is to work collaboratively with groups and organisations like yours to continue enhancing what is available to young people in our community.
