With strikes taking place here, there and everywhere, CLOGS Musical Theatre felt left out! They are delighted to bring strikes to the stage this Spring and present Made in Dagenham the Musical, at the Neeld Community and Arts Centre in Chippenham.
This uplifting musical tells the story of the Ford sewing machinists who stood up and fought for equal pay in 1968. It’s a story of friendship, love and fighting for what’s right, with powerful and fun musical numbers of course!
This funny, touching and timeless musical has music by David Arnold, lyrics by Richard Thomas, and a book by Richard Bean. Based on the 2010 film of the same name, which in turn was based on the real events of the Ford sewing machinists strike of 1968, the musical made its West End premiere at the Adelphi Theatre in 2014.
Directed by Matt Heaton and Musical Direction by Helen Heaton, this uplifting production is not to be missed.

From their first inaugural concert, they have endeavoured to bring the very best of musical theatre to the Chippenham area using the talents of local performers, musicians, technicians and backstage crew.
The Society produces at least one major musical show in early spring each year and also runs a series of fundraising concerts in the early summer. Fundraising performances aim to raise money for the group and funds for local charities.
